Timers

We manufacture a comprehensive Range of Timers to meet the majority of customers’ requirements.

Many Timer Devices are available in the Automotive Industry, unfortunately not all Devices are very accurate.

Unless the Device is able to do the job for which it is intended with constant accuracy it cannot be relied upon. However, our Devices meet these criteria and are therefore suitable candidates for these applications.

There are 4 basic Standard Timer Types:

TIMED ON and DELAYED ON:
These Timers are designed to supply power to a load after a timed delay.

TIMED OFF:
These Timers are designed to supply power to a load for a timed period.
There are three operating modes:

Mode 1:
On connecting power to the Timer, the output supplies power to the load for
the timed period.

Mode 2:
On connecting power to the Timer the output is Off.

Upon switching Pin 5 to the positive supply, the output supplies power to the load for the timed period.

Once the timed period has elapsed, the Timer can be re-triggered.

Mode 3:
On connecting power to the Timer the output is Off.

Upon switching Pin 1 to the negative supply, the output supplies power
to the load for the timed period.

Once the timed period has elapsed, the Timer can be re-triggered.

DELAYED OFF:
These Timers are designed to supply power to a load when a switch is closed
and for a timed period after that switch is opened.

On connecting power to the Timer the output is Off.

Upon switching Pin 1 to the positive, power is supplied to the load.

Upon disconnecting Pin1 the power continues to be supplied to the load for
the timed period.

We also produce Special Timers:

TIMED ON / OFF
These Timers are multi purpose and depending how they are connected can be used EITHER as a TIMED ON or as a TIMED OFF.
