150A BATTERY MONITOR + TAIL LIFT CONTROL
WIRING OPTION 1
A momentary switch to the battery positive. This immediately reconnects the supply and resets the timers if the battery voltage is not raised to 26V the supply will be disconnected as above.
WIRING OPTION 2
The “W” terminal on the alternator. This connection ensures the alternator is charging the battery before the supply to the tail lift is reconnected
WIRING OPTION 3
The ignition switch. This immediately reconnects the supply to the tail lift. The engine does not need to be running. Continued use in this way will result in a flat battery.
WIRING OPTION 4
If the “Start” connection is not used, the supply to the Tail Lift will be reconnected when the Battery Voltage reaches 26V.
There are 4 possible ways to connect the Battery Monitor (as shown below). The examples given are for the 24V Version (E037)
